Dr. Pooja Dara is passionate about helping patients feel better, improve their oral health, and regain confidence in their smiles. As a dentist at People’s Health Centers, she values the opportunity to serve underserved communities and provide compassionate, patient-centered dental care. Her approach is inspired by the words of Pramukh Swami Maharaj: “In the joy of others lies our own.”
Outside of patient care, Dr. Dara is actively involved in organized dentistry. She is involved with the St. Louis Dental Society and Missouri Dental Association and serves in the House of Delegates and as Vice Chair of the New Dentist Committee, helping her stay connected with colleagues and contribute to the future of the profession.
When she is not working, Dr. Dara enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking and enjoying nature at Creve Coeur Lake, and keeping up with current events and personal growth. A fun fact about her is that she genuinely enjoys organizing, whether she is tidying her home, sorting her camera roll, or tackling her email inbox.
Her favorite getaway is Chicago, where she enjoys exploring the museums, lakefront, beaches, shopping, zoo, and, of course, the food.
