Internist(Internal Medicine - Central)
Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases and injuries in adult patients. Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history. Examines patient to determine general physical condition. Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition. Performs minor surgery. Maintain hospital privileges for in-patient care as appropriate to individual practice. Must be board certified or board eligible. Must have current license to practice medicine in the state of Missouri. Graduate of an accredited college or university. Must be CPR certified.
Pediatrician(Pediatrics - North Site)
Provides comprehensive medical services to children from birth through adolescence, including guidance on mental and physical growth and development by performing the following duties: Refers patients to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for patient's well-being, Follows up with patient or parent regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases, Establishes preventive health practices, Provides guidance to parent and patient regarding nutrition, safety, discipline, injury, and disease prevention. Must have current license to practice medicine in the State of Missouri. Graduate of an accredited college or university. Must be CPR certified.
Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (1) Full Time(Outreach)
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides holistic services to school, community, outreach and center based clients of People's Health Centers. The FNP employs advanced practice nursing skills in collaboration with the Medical Director. Provides education to targeted populations using the blended medical curriculum, Counsels patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention including but not limited to life styles choices, nutrition, stress management and mental health, Performs initial intake, history and exam of new clients including orientation to all appropriate age children and adults using People's Health Centers clinic services. Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university; Certification by the ANCC for Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
Billing Coder(1) Full Time(Billing/Patient Services - Central)
Responsible for accurate processing of patients into pay system with proper demographic/income information and to ensure collections from patients and third party payers are maximized.Associate/Bachelor’s degree from two/four year College/University. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) desired. Two – four years of third party billing. Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, private and commercial insurances, CPT and ICD9 codes.
Billing Supervisor(1) Full Time(Finance)
To ensure patients are processed into the system with proper demographic/income information and to ensure collections from patients and third party payers are maximized. Responsible for coordinating, training and monitoring the work flow of the billing staff and ensuring that billing is completed in accordance with established policies. Requires an Associates or Bachelor’s degree from a two or four year college/university in Business Administration or five years of related experience and/ or training. Must have working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, private insurances, CPT and ICD-9 codes anddemonstrate knowledge of third party claims processing and procedures. Supervisory experience is required.
Radiology Mammography Technician(1) Full Time (Radiology)
One or two years of experience in radiology performing routine radiological exams. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Manual dexterity to adjust machine controls and supportive devices. Spatial perception to obtain radiographic’s of diagnostic value. Able to provide leadership and direction to other radiology staff and students. Mammography and/or sonography skills a plus. Requires current license/registration in radiology. Must hold current Registration: Registry of Diagnostic Medical Radiologists and Sonographers (RDMS) and posses at least three years experience in a diagnostic facility, hospital radiology outpatient /community health center.
RN Manager(1) Full Time(Pediatrics - Central)
Ambulatory clinical experience is preferred. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily activities. Observes techniques of and services rendered by nursing staff and provides nursing care for patients indepartment. Provides training and direction to new employees. Identifies problem areas in department such as understaffing, absenteeism and wastefulness and takes corrective ation. Monitors use of supplies and equipment to avoid abuse and orders supplies as needed. RN should have a minimum of a BSN education, pediatric experience, comfortable with giving multiple injections, knowledge of immunization requirements, and at least 3 years supervisory experience. CPR certified.
